Located in San Adolfo, Huila, in the municipality of Acevedo, Finca Anaya has been cultivated and cared for by the Aranda Gómez family for over three decades. Covering 4.5 hectares, the farm lies between two impressive mountain ranges, surrounded by the rich biodiversity of the region. Fruit trees shape the landscape, while guadua bamboo sways in the evening breeze, creating a distinctive atmosphere for the pickers working among the coffee trees.

At Finca Anaya, several varieties are grown, including Pink Bourbon, Pacamara, Gesha, Castillo, Colombia and Red Bourbon. Harvesting is carried out with great care, with around 90% of the cherries selected at full ripeness. After picking, traditional flotation is combined with modern processing techniques to bring out the full potential of each lot. Filtered water and strict Brix monitoring are key elements in maintaining consistency and quality throughout the process.

Pink Bourbon is one of the most sought-after varieties in Colombian coffee cultivation, discovered and stabilized primarily in the department of Huila.

Although for years it was believed to be a natural cross between Red and Yellow Bourbon, recent genetic research suggests that its lineage may be more closely related to Ethiopian landrace varieties.

Its most distinctive feature is the deep pink color of the coffee cherry at full ripeness, a visual trait that also serves as an indicator of its high sugar concentration.
